Helping professionals are increasingly encountering young people who are engaging in self-injurious behaviour. This webinar will focus on practical strategies for working with youth struggling with this complex issue. Topics covered include assessment, emotion regulation, replacement skills training and contagion prevention. Participants will gain insight regarding self-injury behavior in youth along with tools for effective intervention.

Registrations cancelled 7 or more days prior to the workshop are refundable, minus a $50.00 administrative fee. Alternatively you may receive a credit to attend a future training. Cancellations less than 7 days prior to the workshop are non-refundable. If at any time you are unable to attend, you are welcome to transfer your registration to another individual at no extra cost. In this case, please notify CTRI of the name of the alternate person who will be attending.
We reserve the right to cancel workshops due to unforeseen circumstances or under-enrollment. Liability is limited to a refund of workshop fees only. Please make travel arrangements with this in mind.

You Will Receive
A spiral bound training manual and workshop certificate as well as morning refreshments. Participants are on their own for lunch from noon to 1:00 PM, unless otherwise stated above.

To register a group for a workshop, register for selected workshop, then once in shopping cart, add quantity of participants and provide names of all participants.

Continuing Education Credit
While many associations and licensing bodies accept CTRI workshops for continuing education credits, questions about approval should be directed to the specific association or licensing body for which you are requesting the credits. Credit hours: A two day workshop earns 12 continuing education hours and a one day workshop earns 6 hours. A certificate will be awarded upon the completion of the workshop.

Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB)
Because of our approval with ASWB and NBCC, many State Boards accept our workshops for Continuing Education Credit. Please contact your state board/association directly to confirm their requirements.
