About the trainer
Vicki Enns, MMFT, RMFT
Vicki is a couple and family therapist, public educator and AAMFT approved clinical supervisor. Currently she is the Clinical Director and a trainer for Crisis and Trauma Resource Institute, Instructor and Supervisor at the University of Winnipeg in the Marriage and Family Therapy Graduate program, and maintains a vibrant private practice in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She practices and teaches an integrative approach to attend to mental, physical, emotional and spiritual health...
The ability to regulate one’s body and find balance in emotion, thought and physical health is at the core of healing and well-being. It is extremely important for caregivers to cultivate their own well-being and deepen their own practice of developing regulation skills. This ‘working retreat’ will assist participants in developing their own mindful practice and provide the opportunity to experience the effect of a deeper embodied presence and attunement with others. In this highly experiential workshop participants will practice mindfulness, regulation skills and strategies meant to promote compassionate self-awareness and emotional balance as well as prevent burnout and compassion fatigue.
