RESOURCE MANUAL – Attachment and Families
The influence of family can either be a strength to harness, or be a source of repeated barriers for a person – and every individual has a family background and context. Even when only working with one person, considering the broader family context is usually essential. This manual will provide information to help understand common dynamics at play within family systems. Participants will learn strategies for engaging and working with more than one person at a time and also ways to consider including the impact of family when working with individuals. This is a highly interactive and experiential workshop where participants will practice applying principles and strategies relevant for their own setting. 44 pages
